To Whom It May
Concern:
The other day I
noticed on one of your products a statement about how your company is“going
green.” I am writing to express my disappointment that your company has fallen
for the environmentalists’ bogus idea that man is somehow harming his
environment, and that we need to change our ways to atone for this destruction.
The environmentalist movement is simply one of the new homes for left-wing
philosophies. Notice how none of their “solutions” for the alleged problems
between man and his environment involve an increase in freedom, individualism,
capitalism, etc. Rather, the things they advocate are always 100% consistent
with the leftist agenda of less freedom on all fronts. In fact, private
companies such as yours have always been targets of the environmentalist
movement. If they had their way, all businesses would be either nationalized or
so highly regulated and taxed as to essentially constitute fascism.
I know that you are
likely following this “going green” marketing idea because you think that it
will increase sales. I am telling you now that there are many people for whom
this strategy provides a strong disincentiveto buy your products.
When the
pro-environmentalist statements are removed from your products, then I will
again consider purchasing them.
Sincerely,

To whom it may concern:
I can't help noticing that your store is full of
information about how your company “supports the environment.” I realized that
you are doing this because you think that it will help get you customers. What
you should also know is that there are those of us who will go out of our way
not to shop at your store when we
see you promoting environmentalist positions.

To whom it may concern,
Last week, my family and I attended your “Wings of
Flight” show at your Animal Kingdom. I was very disappointed to hear the
presenter claimed that the bald eagle was removed from the endangered species
list in large part due to the banning of DDT. There has never been any proof
that the use of DDT was killing birds. What is known, however, is that tens of
millions more people have died from malaria each year since DDT was banned.
Even if DDT did kill some birds, how many millions of human lives would you be
willing to trade for these birds?
I strongly urge you to refrain from making this bogus and
anti-human claim in your presentations.
Sincerely,
Businesses
